Dr. Juneja has been the former Chairman and CEO of the National Small Industries Corporation. Dr. Juneja has a unique experience in the public & private sector managements and has worked for SME development, policy formulation & advocacy, institutional capacity building & restructuring and entrepreneurship development for over three decades.
Promoting investments and joint ventures from India to Mauritius and Botswana, Dr. Juneja has served as a Advisor & Consultant to the Governments of Egypt, UAE (Dubai), Kenya, Sri Lanka and several other countries of Asia & Africa, United Nations organizations, Commonwealth Secretariat etc.
He has also served as the Past President of All India Management Association.
An MBA from the University of Oregon, USA, Dr. Juneja was conferred Doctoral Degree by the University of Bombay in Applied Economics (1989). He has been a Visiting Professor to the University of Rhode Island, USA and Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
Dr. J.S Juneja has been actively promoting investments to a number of countries particularly in Africa, while facilitating FDIs, joint ventures and technology transfer and has assisted in setting up more than 300 small manufacturing enterprises in Asia and Africa.
Dr Juneja has written extensively and recently authored ‘SMEs in Asian Region- Harnessing the Growth Potential’ and ‘Policy Guidebook for SME Development in Asia and the Pacific’ edited and published by United Nation ESCAP.

Sunil Alagh is the former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Britannia Industries, an Indian food products corporation.
Alagh is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He joined Britannia in December 1974 from Jagatjit Industries, where he was product manager (marketing services). He is credited with Britannia's rise to being India's largest biscuit company.
It was under his stewardship that Britannia became the No. 1 Food Brand in India in 2002 and figured in the Forbes Magazine List of 300 Best Small Companies in the World for three years- 1999, 2000 and 2002. It was the only food brand from India on the list. His work spans a period of 40 years, across three countries (Malaysia, India and Indonesia) and four industries – FMCG, private equity, pharma and corporate security.
A recognised thought provocateur, Sunil Alagh, enables teams to realise their full potential and run successful businesses. Building brands and sustaining a profitable business is now second nature to him. After his successful stint at Britannia Industries, Sunil Alagh began to lead a small and effective team at SKA Advisors in 2003. His work now, is centered around creating strategic business and marketing plans for Challenger Brands operating in competitive environments. In 2010, Sunil Alagh oversaw the successful execution of the development of Horlicks as a Challenger Brand in biscuits. For someone who had launched Britannia Tiger and contemporarised the Britannia brand, it was a sense of deja vu.
Apart from his work at SKA Advisors, Sunil Alagh is involved with several private and public firms in various capacities. He was also appointed as the President of the All India Management Association (AIMA) in 2004.

Vinod has been at the nerve center of various successful Investments, Joint Ventures and Collaborations in Electronics & Telecom, Media & Publishing, Industrial & Consumer Electronics, Hospitality and Finance, with Multinational corporations entering India through the FDI route in his various stints in corporate India. In his last corporate stint, Vinod led Mafatlal Consultancy Services, as its MD& CEO in India, and was instrumental in setting up its wholly owned subsidiary in the US.

Vinod’s experience in startups, seed, equity & development financing and capacity building of MSMEs has successfully led to innovative strategies in equity & growth capital investments in SMEs apart from the development of successful strategies for a nationwide Capacity Building Framework at the India SME Forum. Vinod currently serves as the Honorary President at the India SME Forum, and Member of the Board at the World Union of SMEs, apart from advising various international government agencies and institutions to strategize and deal with current issues and future challenges faced by MSMEs worldwide. Vinod is nominated as a Member of India’s Central Bank, the Reserve Bank of India’s Standing Advisory Committee on Flow of Institutional Credit to MSME Sector under the Financial Inclusion Development Department and is also a nominated member on the Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of the Government of India.

Dr Aruna Sharma an Indian Administrative Officer of 1982 batch Madhya Pradesh Cadre retired after her work as Secretary Steel and Information Technology in government of India. She has always focused to have holistic approach and establish system in all her postings for ensuring sustainable quality outcomes. She has books reaching the Last Beneficiary: Resource Convergence Mantra Model (2008) and Impact of Recourse Convergence in Policy Making, Mainstreaming of Resource Convergence in Policy Making Program Design and Execution (2014) released by UNDP. FAO has also published her work on food security. Her latest work is the book U@Game Changer for Inclusive Growth for public representatives. Her article on “The Samagra anti‐poverty programme in Madhya Pradesh: Integrating household data, overcoming silo‐problems and leaving nobody behind “ is published in electronic version and in print will come in April 2021 in Development Policy Review. Her new book Dancing Towards the $5 Trillion Economy on Holistic Beat.
As Secretary Steel, drafted and successfully executed Steel Policy and preferential procurement policy. The GFR amendment set the trend to enhance domestic demand and key to revival of sector. Logistic improvements were planned and envisaged by getting ‘right of way policy’ from Railways for slurry pipelines and maximum usage of Sagarmala routes.
At State and Center she has visualized, worked and implemented successful software’s like SAMAGRA ( a household wise common data base) used by all the individual and family benefit schemes, now implemented in 8 states, Panch Parmeshwar has made entire working of Panchayat, Block and district for all works executed cash less. This graduated to Priya Soft. The soft ware is real time data of all the receipts and expenditure by the Panchayat irrespective of source of funding. Besides; all receipts and payments are cashless. It generates all the statutory 8 reports required by CAG in auto mode. The Panchayat only has to enter the project estimates, cash book and upload bills and photographs of status of work. It is on line on web and any Panchayat can be viewed and monitored. The financial inclusion model involving all kinds of financial institutions to ensure access in 5km radius was developed along with popularizing RuPay card. Besides, envisaged and by coordination developed to have common National Scholarship portal and GeM portal for procurement to list few.
She was Secretary Information Technology and later Secretary Steel in government of India. She was instrumental to bring in holistic approach has visualized and drafted the National Steel Policy 2017 and also clear policy on preference to local manufacture that has enabled complete revival of sector. The amendment to GFR rules by adding the life cycle cost has been the game changer.
She was also Director General Doordarshan where she gave world class coverage to Common Wealth Games 2010 and that sent bench mark. Doordarshan channels went up in TRP and revenue generation in her tenure. Her focus of work is also in area of Water Security and enhancing local jobs. Access to preventive health care has been the focus when she worked as Secretary Health and Family Welfare. The focus has been on holistic care in terms of drinking water, sanitation, preventive hygiene and vaccination and access to inpatient. She has been member of National Knowledge Commission on health care and education. Her doctoral work is on psycho-barriers in access to public health care. She has worked extensively with policy makers for revival of mining in Goa and the new draft of proposed mining policy.
She was in 5 member High Level RBI committee on Deepening of Digital Payments constituted by Reserve Bank of India- a report that had immediate execution.
She is Fellow with University of Bath in UK, and working on accelerating the success and sustainability of SDGs by resorting to common household data base. She is alumni of Harvard Kennedy School. Her forte is development, core sectors and environment issues. She regularly writes for Financial Express, Economic Times and CNBC 18 .
She is independent director with SRO of MFIN, Welspun Infra, Arjas Steel Pvt Limited, IQuippino and 3iInfotech besides lot of pro bono work in field of development, core sector and environment.

Parveen Arora is presently Advisor and Head, National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC) Division, Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, Government of India. He holds a Ph.D. in Science Policy from the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. As a national expert on Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) indicators spearheaded the national STI surveys and brought out several National S&T publications periodically such as R&D Statistics, R&D in Industry etc. for evidence-based S&T Policy Planning. He has been instrumental in conceptualization and evolution of the first ever national Innovation Survey and also in bringing out the National Innovation Survey report on ‘Understanding of Innovation: Indian Context. He has been closely associated with international bodies such as UNESCO, OECD and other member countries in developing guidelines and benchmarking for STI indicators. He is also on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Scientometric Research and ASCI Journal of Management. Of late, he has been associated with the conceptualization and formulation of Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) guidelines and draft SRIMAN Policy on scientific infrastructure for implementation across S&T Institutions in the country. Presently, under the NCSTC programme, Parveen Arora is engaged with communicating and popularizing S&T, stimulating scientific temper and building networks towards coordinating and facilitating such initiatives in the country and abroad. He is spearheading the flagship programme such as National Children Science Congress, National Science Day, National Awards on S&T Communication, STEMM initiative and S&T communication and media research. He is actively championing the mainstreaming of science communication in view of the emerging challenges and realities through the new pan India initiatives at NCSTC such as Science Wiki in India languages, Virtual Science Media, Mobile Science Exhibitions, Innovation Circle, Augmenting Writing Skills for Articulating Research (AWSAR) 2.0, Promoting SSR initiatives, Ethics in Science etc.

Being an Entrepreneur herself, her wide travels, made Sushma explore and study the state and options for Small and Medium Business in India. Her own difficulties and social experiences as an Entrepreneur in India, made her feel a strong urge to help create an ecosystem to enable and aid the employment generating small and medium business owners, especially women. As part of her commitment and vision, Sushma, oversaw the formation of the India SME Forum along with the present Founder Trustees of India SME Forum. She is personally involved as the Director General, in some of its outreach and knowledge sharing activities. Sushma lead a team of analysts and experts in creating a unique evaluation format, for the India SME 100 Awards, created specifically to score and rate SMEs across the length and breadth of the country on a single scale. Sushma has lead the team of researchers in conducting India& ;s largest MSME survey - State of the SME for the India SME forum which surveyed 3,30,000 MSMEs across 29 states, 371 clusters and 6000+ product lines, on the Entrepreneurial and Financial ecosystem, State of their Business & ; Use of Technology. A report based on the survey was shared with various State Governments, Policy makers, Institutions and various Ministries along with our analysis and recommendations. Sushma passionately works for Small and Medium Entrepreneurs as the Founder Director General at the India SME Forum, apart from advising various government agencies and institutions to strategize and deals with current issues and future challenges. Apart from day to day overseeing and leading extensive research and analysis of linkages, growth potential and market factors of MSMEs involved in over 29 clusters across 11 Sectors. Some clusters covered are Food Processing, Dairy, Leather, Pharma, Engineering and Automotive in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Gujarat, Karnataka and Haryana Sushma’s experience in startups and capacity building of MSMEs has successfully lead to innovative strategies in the development of successful strategies for a nationwide Capacity Building Framework, at the INDIA SME FORUM. Sushma’s belief in Women Empowerment and Entrepreneurship as the key for social and economic change in India, made her start encouraging & working with various clusters of artisans and backward class, self employed women, as a continuous social activity. Sushma was appointed in Jan 2015, to the National Board of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, India’s apex body for MSMEs by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. She also represents India on the B20 China SME Taskforce and is also Member of the Permanent Commission On Social Issues and Women Entrepreneurship for World Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (WUSME)
